I miss the Tribunal and finding a new hosting home

    Hey guys,

It's been a long time.  Sorry I've been gone for so long.  Alot has changed this last year.  I lost alot of weight.  And then I met a girl.  And now I'm engaged and getting married at the beginning of September.  I got an email the other day from our host telling me I need to renew soon, and it made me think, "Holy Crap!  I haven't been to the Tribunal in a long time!"  So here I am.  Unfortunately, our host decided to reduce our database alotment to just one, which is why the old Shadowbane site no longer works.  We really don't need that, but it's the principal of the thing.  I paid for it and they took it away.  So, we may be switching hosts if they don't make things right.  I will try to not have a noticeable interruption if we do move.  Just wanted you guys to know.

So, what's going on?  I see some of you are playing Left4Dead.  Having fun with that?  I went to a LAN party recently where we played and had alot of fun.  It'd be nice to play something with some of you again.  What else are you playing?

Hey there Z - good to see you around and to hear that things are going well for you!  In any event, I've been doing some L4D and TF2... other than that I've been busy with life - girl work school friends and the like.

Anyway, it's 7:00 am and I'm awake for some odd reason... I'm going back to sleep.

Howdy, Z.  I'm still lurking as well, but I'm still just playing one online game: EVE.  At 3 1/2 years straight(and still counting) its the longest stretch I've had in an MMO.  Its also a monster that consumes all of my game-time without regard to any other games that are out there.  I havent tried any other MMOs in ages, thanks in large part to the reviews those games have gotten from the guys here, but I do still yearn for some good old FPS action from time to time.  Maybe I'll have to track people down in TF2 or go out and get Left4Dead sometime.

I need to get my primary pc up and running again this week.  Had the hard drive die recently, so I've gone back to my old laptop.  But I do have Left4Dead and I've been wanting to play the new survivor mode, or whatever it's called.

I wonder if anyone still play BF2.  Had alot of fun with the Tribunal in that game.  Probably be terrible at it now though.

Re: I miss the Tribunal and finding a new hosting home

I still play TF2 a lot, and I'd be very glad to pick up L4D again (it's not all that fun unless you play with folks you know).  I know TF2's releasing an update next week so, if you have that, it might be cool to play that.  Otherwise, let me know when you'd be available for L4D and it looks like we could probably have enough for a full party for some survivals.

As for BF2, I looked around a bit but couldn't find it, so I guess it's probably gone.  If I find it around somewhere I'll let you know, though; it was pretty good times back in the day.

(Oh, and good to see you again Z and Margrove; glad things are still going pretty well.  Congrats on the engagement, Z!)

Congrats, Z!  That is great news and it is fantastic to see you guys all still lurking after so many years.

My computer has been dead for the better part of two years now and any money I earn has had to go right in to school and living expenses.  I've now finished the degree at last and will be moving and setting up on a semi-permanent basis in my old city.  Hopefully this means a new computer and a return to some casual gaming.  If you guys are around and gaming at all in a few months you may see me around.

Also, excuse my ignorance.  What became of the AoC project?  Unfortunately I'm not even abreast on the status of the game.  Was it released?

Thank you for the update on hosting.  Although I don't stop by very often it will be a sad day indeed when I no longer have the option.  :P

    Thanks, guys.  :)

I need to get a copy of TF2 myself.  A couple of weeks ago, the Orange Box was on sale through Steam for $10.  Unfortunately, that's during the time my computer was toast.  But I still want to pick it up because I imagine it'll be part of our gaming that will be part of the bachelor party.  Yes, most of my friends are geeks.

L4D is pretty fun, I'm not gonna lie.  I'm trying to get the machine back to life this week with possible playing next week.  Have to go out of town for a wedding (man, people think they're soooo important because they get married) this weekend, but will be back and ready to play after that for anyone who's willing to join up.

More than anything, it's nice to hear from you guys.

What's up, guys? Nice to see you all.

I pretty much console, play Warhammer Online, or L4D on the PC. I've had life catch up to me. Busy with work, wife, etc. She and I are closing on a house at the end of June, so we're looking forward to that. I played Fable 2 a lot, and now I'm onto inFamous, which is a pretty cool game. Reminds me of City of Heroes combined with Grand Theft Auto.

But, I'm always up for a game of 'whatever'.The economy has been a kick in the nuts in terms of upping my workload, but I still have time to game on occasion.

I was looking at MMORPG.com and for some reason Tribunal came to mind and I had to see if you guys were still around. Good to see everyone is in good health and enjoying life

Instead of MMOs, I've started a life as a pro-wrestler. They call me Breemis the Unhungly. My theme song is people chanting "who got dat LITTLE PENIS? BREEMIS GOT DAT LITTLE PENIS!"

That sounds like a good life plan, Breemis.  And glad you can use your Tribunal name to associate with us.  Maybe you can wear some of those little penis earings that bachelorette parties seem to wear.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; you guys are all nuts.  Although, if you've got a tiny penis I guess thats not just a figure of speach...

I missed reading about Tribunal genitals.  No gaming for this old boy, just movies and books and occasional dirty talk with Larith while I work.  Congratulations on all your goodness, Z.

    Nice hat.

I had a hat like that once...then my mom got a job.

I, too, am still in existence. I decided not to get into The Age of Conan after all, and haven't played anything for well over two years now as I'm studying for my master's degree. Most of my limited spare time is spent on political activism (I'm one of those "evil capitalists") and watching Dexter. In any case, I'm glad to see that the site is still up and running, and that you're all still around to some extent.

As a big fan of the Knights of the Old Republic RPGs, I am considering trying out The Old Republic when it's released. If I do, I'll check in here in case any of you are playing it.

Hey Iz, nice to see you around too!  Speaking of the Old Republic RPGs, have you heard about this new fan patch for KotOR2?  Apparently it adds in a ton of content that was cut out of the release for time.  I was thinking of borrowing the game from someone to check it out.  Here's a link to the article I read:
