Warhammer Server Selection

We'll be joining a number of RP guilds on the Collector's Edition server Azazel. This is the official server, unless notified later. If the queue somehow gets bad because of the limited number of CE servers being released, something else might be arranged.

But, for now, all Order characters are on Azazel.

The official guild name selected was Mordkessel.

Hmm, not even an RP server?  I mean, I know we weren't going to make RP the core of the game, but still... : /

You know RP servers are typically a joke in this game, man. Come on. We'll probably get better PVP on non-RP servers, which is what we were going for.

The only feature an RP server offers is name filtering. While it can certainly be argued that is important, it doesn't add much to things. As it is, people are going to focus on getting to max rank before you start seeing any RP beyond a passing Hail and Greetings.

Yeah, the problem was, we figured lots more people would be leaning destruction too, so we opted for order for faster queues and more meaningful PvP.  With class mirroring, it's really not that bad.

Who should I look for in-game?

The chat seems very non-existant.

If you've missed it, we've merged with Mordkessel and have been using their vent servers.  My char's name is Annalia, Pravus is Astorin, Geirmund is Bleys, and Ariane is Renrian (to name a few); any of us can get you an invite.  Also, check out mordkessel's site and try to get access to their boards.  Also, do you have access to our private boards?

I've been playing more than reading; I freely admit it's more fun. :)

Saw the Mordkessel merger and went to their site. I'll work on access there.
Here, I don't think I've got private boards access.

My Rune Priest is named Exitar and my Warrior Priest is named Tetriarch.

How goes the confessions lately?

Hey man. Things are going well for us so far. We've gone under the Mordkessel (MH/MV in SB) umbrella and are playing with some people over there. Errandir is running the show, and as a former Trib member, I've got a modicum of respect for him :)

Redemption and many others are on that server right now, too. If you're bored or get tired of Chaos Wastes, you should join us. Warhammer Online is a pretty solid game for us... many of us have been playing BF2, TF2, etc in between games, so the whole competitive PVP instance aspect is going well.

I think WOW gave me herpes, though, so I won't be playing there any time soon :p

Hope on AIM sometime, or catch up with me on vent. Glad you're still around.

Ya chuffin lackeys shoulda rolled on Ostermark (RP).

We got th' Mithril Warhammers, CLan Steinhammer, and Destruction has Shadowclan and Sanguine WIld. Lots o' RP and a might bunch of awesome RVR action nightly. There's even an order guild called Cleansing Flame (at first I thought it was the lot of yas), but their guildleader never played Shadowbane.

If the pop levels there ever suck, consider moving the fight there!

It sounds pretty aesome, Braut; glad it's working out for you!  I certainly miss the RP, but we've met some pretty cool folks on Azazel, too.  Maybe I will drop by sometime, who knows?  Thanks for keeping in touch!

Nice to see you Braut. We're doing ok on Azazel with Virakat and Redemption and a few others. While RP is non-existant, I don't find Warhammer to be much of an RP game... Anytime you can't talk to the enemy, it makes it hard to be meaningful. Most of the time, I feel like it's just going through the motions, so I treat it like TF2 or something.

Right now, we're set, but it's good to know a lot of you are doing well in Warhammer. Maybe I'll roll a character over there to be social, but it would be Destruction or Bust on that server.
