    The Tribunal on Vindication

Currently, I have two IC members for the Tribunal on Vindication.

    The current leadership structure is:
    Tribune or Lictor: Larith
    Jannisary: Tetzel and Divinia
Inquisitor: Every old member on Mourning will be given the title Inquisitor, with other ranks to be filled out by people that join us later.
Aspirant: Geirmund (an RPer I knew from the Mourning days, and someone I'm giving a shot within SB)

    That's all for now.

Larith, Leader of the Tribunal and All-Around Awesome Guy.

Question: What rules are we going with for RP and channels? I've been using nation, group, and tells as OOC and the others as IC because that's what it seems everyone else does. Do we want to make everything IC again? I'm more inclined to follow the other guilds because RPing in channels no one else RPs in is a bit... disconcerting.

    Aye. That sounds fine, Tet.

Also, Margrove will be rejoining us in his role as Lord Templar.

    Well, that was unexpected.

So I downloaded the free trial to play a little on test since I've got some free time now. Get everything setup to play on test, go to log in, and I keep getting an error that says the server is busy. I'm not impressed so far.

? Have you set up your configuration properly or seen to see if it's your university's firewall?

I think the "Server Busy" error comes up if you don't connect properly.

Larith, I'm in the guild now as an aspirant. Could you bump me up to inqizi-tator when you get a chance?

It's not my university firewall unless they changed a bunch of ports around since last march, it worked fine when I played then. I'll check the configuration.

Well I'm starting to think either ubi changed around the ports they use, or WSU decided to block some more ports. In the faq on the tech support page, they said to shoot them your DxDiag.txt file if nothing else works, which I just did. So I'm hoping they find something I'm not seeing, but I'm not very optimistic at this point. I was really excited to play SB again with you guys too Sad [:(]

Hopefully you get it working, make sure you had all of shadowbane closed including patcher etc when you modified the configs for test server.

You could also try just running straight off the install to see if you can at least connect to the live server, that would tell you if its a typo or something missed in changing the configs for test, or a port blocked via firewall.

I tried connecting to the live servers straight off the bat when I first installed, no luck either. It patches and all fine, the problem is connecting to the actual game.
