Leader Ranks:
Exarch: This is going to the leader of the faction. Note the leader is also the Patriarch of the house, being the hereditary and rightful heir.
Inner Council Ranks:
Consuls: All ICs are consider Consul. There are several different types of council.
Praetor: Margrove. As the leader of the houses armed forces (recently returned from war), he is given the title of Praetor.
Quaestor: Caraffa. As the cheif historian and advisor of the guild, Caraffa is given the charge of being Quaestor and charged with the maintenance of the houses financial and logisitical resources.
Officer Ranks:
Pontifex Maximus(1): The high-priest of the guild, charged with being in charge of the priesthood. Note: He still answers the the Consuls.
Lictor (1): The voice of the Consul. Responsible for making sure the IC's laws are passed down to the memberbase and policing/reporting problem members to the IC. Edgar is being given this office.
Imperator (2 or 3): The generals loyal to the Praetor. These are the commanders of the legions and serve as the arm of the house's martial force.
Tribunes: The rest of the officers will be known as Tribunes, and are responsible for helping the citizens in the guild. They are the political leaders of the faction.
Citizens:
These are the full members of the guild, being granted membership into the house and allowing to bear the name. Keep in mind: Roman is for the most part a democracy. Although the officers have a lot of power, citizens are not blind nor dumb servants, but even able to vote out officers of the guild (unless the dictator decides otherwise).
Commoners:
These are those who wish enterance into the house. Most soldiers, merchants, and others who are loyal to the House are Commoners, seeking citizenship someday, through service. When people join the guild, they will be commoners.
Slaves: The lowest teir, they do the dirty work of the hosue and are generally treated like... well, slaves. These are the unacceptable members of the house, taken from other races and have very little hope of citizenship. A slave eventually being given freedom and citizenship is not unheard of, but very unlikely.
